Configure Individual Vehicle Dash Cam Settings

Configure Dash Cam Settings, such as camera height, for each vehicle using the following workflow:

1. Select the Settings icon ( ) at the bottom of your Fleet menu to view dashboard settings.

2. Within the Fleet, select Safety.

3. Select Edit Individual Vehicles.

   

4. Select one or more vehicles from the list and click Edit Vehicles. To narrow the scope of the results, search for a vehicle or filter by assigned vehicle tags, settings configurations (such as Voice Coaching: On), or by Vehicle Type (such as Heavy Duty).

   

5. Adjust the vehicle settings. Review Dash Camera Settings for more information on settings configurations.

6. (Optional) Set the Camera Height, or vertical distance between the dash cam and the road. An accurate setting will increase the accuracy of detection for features such as Following Distance and Forward Collision Warnings. Select Default to Vehicle Type Setting to use the vehicle type selected for the Harsh Event Sensitivity.

7. Submit to save your changes.
