Configure Password Requirements for Devices

To customize the security settings for password requirements:

1. Select the Settings icon ( ) at the bottom of your Fleet menu to view dashboard settings.

2. Before you configure home screen display settings, Enroll Your Organization ensure the Samsara Launcher App is installed.

3. Configure a Device Home Screen Template.

4. Select the Home Screen template in your MEM policy.

   1. In MEM, select Policy.

   2. Create or edit an MEM Policy.

   3. On the General tab, select Require mobile device password to require enrolled devices to use a password.

      

   4. In the top right, Publish to <X> devices. Samsara will deliver the policy update to any associated devices as soon as they connect to the internet.
