Troubleshoot Delays in Viewing DVIR and Documents in the Dashboard

If there is a delay in viewing Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) or documents in the Samsara dashboard, follow these steps to diagnose and resolve the issue effectively.

Symptoms

• DVIR or documents are not appearing in the Samsara dashboard after submission.

• Submission status in the Samsara Driver App shows pending or incomplete.

Causes

The most common causes of delays include:

• The Samsara Driver App was not connected to the internet during submission.

• The driver closed the app before the DVIR or document showed a successfully submitted status.

Solution

Follow these steps to address the issue:

1. Ask the driver to verify that the Samsara Driver App shows a Submitted status for the DVIR or document. If not, ensure the driver resubmits the form.

2. Confirm the driver app is connected to the internet.

   Without internet connectivity, submissions cannot reach the dashboard.

3. Advise drivers not to close the app until the DVIR or document status shows Successfully Submitted.

   Prematurely closing the app can disrupt the submission process.
